Position Overview:
Laigo is seeking a talented and motivated Junior AI Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work on a variety of machine learning and MLOps tasks, contributing to the development, deployment, and maintenance of AI models. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and deploy scalable AI solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain AI models using Python with a focus on NLP and Computer Vision.
- Implement and optimize deep learning models using PyTorch.
- Design and deploy microservices using FastAPI.
- Perform data preprocessing, model training, and model deployment.
- Collaborate with the team to integrate AI models into production environments.
- Ensure the scalability and reliability of AI systems.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in Python programming.
- Good understanding of NLP and Computer Vision techniques.
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks, particularly PyTorch.
- Hands-on experience with data preprocessing and model training.
- Knowledge of model deployment strategies and best practices.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technologies.
- Experience serving and monitoring models with TorchServe.
- Familiarity with Huggingface transformers and models.
- Experience with RabbitMQ for message queuing and brokering.
- Experience with Intelligent Document Processing (IDP).
- Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs).
